Me and Bob
I am so lucky - my grandparents in Tiburon gave me a terrific gift for Christmas: a "Bob". Bob is a really cool stroller that can go off road and makes those long walks that my parents like to go on much more fun for all of us. Here I am (above) in my Bob, taking a nap like usual.
Today we went to the zoo to see all the animals out in the cold, beautiful weather. I decided to sleep until we got to the giraffes, zebras and antelope at the African Savanna. Here I with my mommy.

Daddy's Birthday
I have a really cool daddy - he changes my diapers, plays with me, and buys me fun toys (I got an early Christmas present called a "Jumperoo" that I LOVE). Daddy is a lot older than me and just celebrated his birthday. He even let me try a teeny bit of vanilla ice cream that tasted yummy!

Wow! That ice cream is fantastic!

Here I am in my beloved "Jumperoo"

Mommy and Me

My mommy and I decided to get out of the house and make some new friends. We met with a group of other mommies and babies, and then took a photo of us babies all lined up in a row on a couch (I'm the furthest on the right) - I didn't like it so much, though others thought it was great fun... or slept through it.

Not long after that traumatic photo, we got together again to celebrate Halloween. I wore a funny little pumpkin hat and a semi-matching orange and white striped sleeper. My favorite costumes were the lobster and the chicken (right next to me).

I'm really looking to the holiday season this year - my first Thanksgiving & Christmas! It'll be interesting to see what goofy outfits my parents put me in for those holidays.

One Month Old
My dad read me a book. I think it's interesting to see people talk - far more fascinating than looking at the book.
My parents often put this funny bear next to me when I sleep. It makes a sound that sounds like it did in the wom
b. It helps me relax and sleep.
I got to meet a new friend - Lilly Joubert. She is the daughter of my parent's friends, Alan and Dene.
When we got back from visiting the Jouberts at Overlake Hospital, my parents gave me a bath. I'm starting to like baths and I usually sleep well after taking one.

Well, my first few weeks of life have been busy. I've had lots of people visit. They talk funny when they speak to me, not sure why, but I like it anyway. My dad's father came to visit a week ago. He was already scheduled to be in Olympia to sing anti-war songs at the Thurston County Democratic Picnic. He spent the afternoon with us. Here's a photo...
I had a bath and my parents put a goofy towel on my head.
I found that my dad likes to sleep almost as much as I do.
One of mom and dad's friends came over. His name is Alan. He's a funny guy! He is a die hard Seahawks fan (see the hat) and he's great with kids (see the photo) and.... he's single :-)
Grandma and Grandpa Prout came over for a few visits. Here's a photo with me and grandpa.
My dad's mom flew up from San Francisco just for the day. It was great to see her.
I have this new thing called a Gymini. It's pretty cool. I can lay down on the ground and see all these animals float in the air. I'm not sure how they do, some sort of superpower or something. It also has a mirror and I'm fascinated by it. I'm going to spend more time on my belly on this thing so that I can build up my neck muscles.
I was tired after all of that play, so today I got to take a nap on my parents bed. It was nice.Tonight my parents took me to nearby Golden Gardens. The sun had just
set behind the Olympic Mountains across the Puget Sound. There were a lot of people there, including a group of about 25 drummers sitting together making a lot of noise. My parents called them Hippies, but I'm not sure what that means.
Well, it's been a fun two weeks of life. I'm looking forward to week 3. I'll keep you posted.~Gabriel

My first posting

Hello Friends and Family,
This is my first blog and I am excited to share my adventures with you. I was born on August 11th in Seattle and weighed 7 lbs 14 oz. I had a funny cone shaped head for about a day, but it's beginning to look more normal which makes me happy. I live in Seattle with my parents Cam and Jennifer. They seem pretty cool so far.
Here's a Shakespeare quotation that my mommy loves: "There was a star danced, and under it I was born"

I have two sets of grandparents - Mom's parents live nearby and Dad's parents live in California. I had dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Prout last night - that was fun. Grandpa Tripp is coming to visit for a while tomorrow.
My favorite things to do are to eat and poo - I'm learning that those two things go hand in hand.
